Peacefully, surrounded by his family at Victoria Hospital on Saturday, September 16, 2017.  Beloved husband of Lillian Gallagher for 61 years. Loving dad of Leslie (late Mark) Misurak and Ann (Nick) Ramundo. Also loved by his granddaughters Julianna and Gabrielle. Survived by many loving family members in Ireland. A special thank you to the medicine team and nurses at Victoria Hospital D7-100. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at ST. PETER’S CATHEDRAL BASILICA, 196 Dufferin Avenue, London on Thursday, September 21, 2017 at 1:00 p.m., with visitation from 12:00-1:00 p.m. Inurnment to follow at St. Peter’s Cemetery and Holy Family Chapel Mausoleum, London. In lieu of flowers, those wishing to make a donation in memory of Daniel are asked to consider the L’Arche London Gathering Place, 4448 Colonel Talbot Road, London, Ontario  N6P 1B6, larchelondon.ca.

So sorry that we lost contact with you these past few years and am thankful that through Facebook Messenger, Lillian was able to get in touch with us. We, of course, have fond memories of our last meeting with you in 2005 when we visited you in London, during a trip to Toronto and other Canadian cities. Dan was a very dear friend and Nora has fond memories of working as his assistant at CIBC in New York. Truly a great boss--and friend! We surely miss Dan and pray for his eternal peace.
