Died peacefully at St. Joseph’s Hospice on Thursday, January 25th, 2018, with family at her side, in her 80th year. Loving mother of Ainsley Gordon and his wife Diane, of London, Owen Gordon and his wife Karen, of Toronto, and grandmother of Damian and Andrew Gordon. Dear sister of Leila Wright, Ethel Meikle, Winsome Butler and the late David Reid. Also sadly missed by her nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. In addition, Marjorie is survived by Alvin Gordon. Visitation will be held at WESTVIEW FUNERAL CHAPEL, 709 Wonderland Road North, London, on Sunday from 5:00-7:00 p.m. The funeral service will be conducted at SAINT JAMES WESTMINSTER ANGLICAN CHURCH, 115 Askin Street, London, on Monday, January 29, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. Rev. Keith Nethery officiating. In lieu of flowers, those wishing to make a donation in memory of Marjorie are asked to consider St. Joseph’s Hospice, London.

Gary Nicolosi My condolences to the family on the death of Marjorie. As her former priest, Marjorie was a dear parishioner, a kind and decent human being and a woman of enormous courage and faith. It was my privilege to be her priest. I know she now is in heaven as God’s good and faithful servant. May she Rest In Peace.

Joan RymalVery, very sorry for your loss. I worked with Marjorie for many years at the Dearness Home. She was so integral to our getting the Residents to Clinics, getting escorts,getting the Dr.'s list, paying the bills, ordering supplies, etc., etc. I was always amazed how she could walk all day in those high heels but she said they were comfortable for her. We couldn't have done our job without her and her quiet, efficient manner. Please take care. Joan
