Book of Condolences

Robert Coulter and Anne RouleauIt is with great sadness that I find myself writing these obviously inadequate words. Right from the time that scrawny little Gena would hang around and bug me whenever my mom and dad took us for a visit to Uncle Frank and Aunt Pegs home it was easy to see how full of life, fun and vitality she was. Over the years after Frank and Peg passed I kind of lost touch with most of the Fraumeni kids but Gena sought me out and welcomed me into her Facebook world. I’m so glad she did. Rest In Peace sweetie.
Hazel SimmonsI am from the UK and I met Gina when she was in Tenerife at a Thalidomide Conference with her good friend Lianne Powell who is a Thalidomider like myself. I have been a friend of Gina's ever since, I was truly shocked to the core yesterday when I heard that our friend had died, I had no idea she even had cancer, I am guessing Gina wanted no fuss etc. My heart felt condolences to all her family. I shared Gina's love of dogs, and would definitely have had her as my dog walker had I lived anywhere near as I know all the dogs she took care of loved her very much. Rest in peace my friend, you will be missed by many including me, I was really hoping we would meet up again one day. Lots of love and (((((HUGS)))) to all the family I will be thinking of you all this Christmas time and on the 27th and 28th when you say your goodbyes to your wife/mother/sister/aunt xx
Kevin Coulter and Nancy McCallThe picture above says it all! Always Bright, always bubbly! Always fun! Rest with angels! My condolences to all my cousins.

Rest In Peace Gina. With love from the Tenerife Girls
Lauren FraumeniThere are some things in life we will never understand. Why did this happen? Why me? What did i do to deserve this? But unfortunately no one ever has an answer because there aren’t any. Gina was such a warm hearted welcoming aunt. Always there for a good time every time i saw her. Coming from my father (her brother), Gina was strong. She didn’t let any little thing get in the way of what mattered most to her. She was always the first one to wish me a happy birthday on facebook every year, and was always the most outgoing at the anuale Fraumeni Christmas party’s. Why did this happen to her? No one knows. The only thing i can think of is that is shows how much of an incredibly strong women she is. Its taught each and everyone of her family and friends that life is short. Do everything in your power to live your absolute best life because i know my aunt Gina sure did. As this holiday season arrises lets all celebrate the wonderful life my lovely aunt Gina lived, and remember the real meaning of family. I saw this one quote saying “we little knew that morning, that God would call you name. In life we loved you dearly; in death we do the same. It broke our hearts to loose you, but you did not go alone, for part of us went with you, the day God called you home. You left us beautiful memories, your love is still our guide, and though we can not see you, you are always by our side. “ Love and miss you aunt Gina, fly high🕊
Paul FraumeniOn behalf of my mum and sisters (Mary Ellen, Anne Marie, Martha, Angela and Julie) and our big family, please know that we are thinking of Gina’s family at this difficult time. We have so many fond memories of Gina when we would visit our London Fraumenis. Her passing is such a horrible loss. You are all in our prayers.
Lisa PowellHere is a gem of a person who brought so much happiness to so many..some two legged, some four legged and one very special friend..yes..with only one. A varied group of fans if ever there was. Gina looked after my dogs on many occasions and it was a bedlam of joy everytime they spotted her. I know once I left the house they would look at each other and say “Remember good old what’s her name?” Gina in the house...that is all that mattered. She loved and grew up with my niece Cheryll and my sister Lianne. She loved my sister true and long, through thick and thin. A lifelong friend in every way. We will miss her bright, wide, ready for anything eyes, her exuberance, her indelible kindness. Travel well and rest easy Gina. We will always keep you safe in our hearts and revered in our memories.

mark and GeddesI grew up my entire childhood hanging out at 6 Renwick Ave. I was the kid from around the corner. The Fraumeni family was my second family whether they liked it or not. Whenever Gina would answer the door when I came over she always had a huge smile on her face and would tell me that I didn't need to knock on the door I should just come right in. She always wanted to be part of what Greg and I were doing, however Greg had other ideas and would yell "Mom can you tell Gina to leave us alone", Gina was the sister I never had and I am very sad to see her leaving us so soon.
wayne thorpeOn behalf of my sister Pat and myself I would like to express our sadness of hearing of Ginas passing. Our thoughts are with Scott and family and all of my cousins Jane,John,Mike and Greg

Kathy RobertsIt was with a heavy heart that I learned of Gina's passing. It was a shock, as I didn't know that she had been battling cancer. I will always remember the fun and zany times that we had, with the other crazy synchro Moms that we were both a part of. Gina was a warm, loving, and caring person who I am fortunate to have known. I hope that Scott, Bailey, and Toni find comfort in their memories and continue to feel her love. My deepest sympathies.
Starlee CarewI met Gina through "Your Dog's Coach," as she was a dog walker for Jo Merner. Jo organized walks at Springbank Park and I'd bring along my Westies to socialize with everyone and "tire them out!" This is how Gina & I met. She was always bubbly, smiling, energetic, funny, pawsitive and eager. She absolutely loved all creatures - human and animal alike. Her smile was infectious and she always had a funny story to tell, accompanied by a mischievous glint in her eyes. To Gina's family . . . I've asked our Westies and feline fur kids who have already gone to heaven to welcome Gina with open paws. They will take care of her and ensure that her heart is comforted, and her pain is no longer. Please accept my deepest condolences.
Susan FaullIt was with great sadness that we learned of Gina's passing. Deepest condolences to Scott, Bailey, Toni and family. Gina will be fondly remembered and missed by all who knew her! I met Gina when our girls swam together on the London Synchro team. We had a lot of fun chatting during practices and cheering together at competitions. Gina and I and few other mom's swam together on the Mom Synchro team--that was a lot of fun and we had many laughs perfecting our routine--I think we were pretty good too!! I will remember Gina for her infectious smile, vibrant personality and love for her family!
Sue JohnstonI had the good fortune to work with Gina at The Lunch Lady many years ago and we had so much fun in the kitchen preparing the kids' meals. After The Lunch Lady, we kept in touch on Facebook and I was so shocked and saddened to read of her passing. I will always remember Gina with a big smile on her face. She spoke often of her girls and her love for her family was obvious. She was a wonderful lady who will be truly missed. My condolences to her girls and her husband.
Chris GardinerSorry I could not be there personally to convey my deepest sympathies to you Scott, Bailey and Toni. It has been an honour to know Gina as a customer. A truly fun lady and she will be sadly missed. Our thoughts and prayers go out to the family from our BMO family.
Susan MocklerMy family and I were deeply saddened to hear of Gina’s passing. Gina and I grew up across the street from each other on Renwick Ave. She was my first best friend and in many ways we were part of each other’s families. All my childhood memories are intertwined with her and in this way we will always be together riding bikes, crafting doll clothes from tissue paper and cotton balls, playing in the “pit”, drinking the “egg” water from the fountain in Springbank Park and on and on. We reconnected on Facebook decades later and I discovered the strong generous woman she’d become with the same spark I recalled from childhood who clearly loved and was loved by her family and many friends. On behalf of my sister Kathryn, and my mother Joyce we offer our heartfelt condolences to her family.
Jana MangelsenMy condolences to the family. Gina was a lifelong friend of my sister. Gina had a sparkle that will be remembered by all.
