Peacefully, on Sunday, January 29th, 2012, at University Hospital, Les Davis, of London, in his 58th year. Beloved husband of Marsha (Neely) Davis. Loving father of Sean Davis. Dear brother of Trish Gregory (Ken) and Yvonne Hirst (Michael). Dear son-in-law of Peter and Helen Neely. Survived by six nieces and nephews: Jennifer (Skylar), Anthony (Michelle), Matthew, Spencer, Hunter and Hayley; and by brother-in-law Al Neely. Les was an employee of St. Joseph’s Hospital for 38 years. Cremation has taken place. Visitation will be held on Wednesday from 7:00 – 9:00 p.m. at the WESTVIEW FUNERAL CHAPEL, 709 Wonderland Road North, where the memorial service will be conducted on Thursday, February 2nd, 2012 at 1:00 p.m. Inurnment at Dorchester Union Cemetery at a later date. Those wishing to make a donation in memory of Les are asked to consider SPARC Unit/Western or the 68th London Scouts Group.

Marsha and Sean: We are heart broken over the loss of Les. He will be remembered for all that he gave to his family, his job and his friends. Always remember that time heals.

Les was good people! We are saddened to hear of his passing. In the Scouting vernacular, Les has “Gone Home.”, signified by the trail sign of a circle with a dot in the centre. He will be missed! Our condolences to Marsha and Sean … you are in our thoughts and prayers.
I was shocked when I found out about Les' passing. I knew Les to be a kind hearted and very nice person. I also valued him as a very good friend and enjoyed when we talked and at times, got together. I will always treasure the friendship I had with Les. I will always have nothing but fond memories of him. I will miss him dearly and I will always have him in my thoughts and prayers. I will never forget his laugh and the way he made me laugh....To Marsh and Sean...He always talked highly of the both of you and he was very proud of Sean. So sorry for the both of you. You have lost a very amazing person. Rest in Peace Les...I will never forget you my friend.

We were so sorry to hear about Les. He was a good guy and we will miss him.
Years ago, I worked with Les on the Joint Health and Safety Committee. He was honest, passionate and dedicated to representing all workers and ensuring their safety. He was a pleasure to work with, always a gentleman with a good sense of humour and a warm smile. He is missed.
