Peacefully at Sunnybrook Hospital, Toronto, on Friday, February 15, 2013 in his 96th year. Beloved husband of Madeline. Loving father of Will Knoll (Abbey) of Texas and Brian Knoll (Joanne) of Toronto. Dear grandfather of Ryan, Matthew, Jonathan and Taylor and great-grandfather of Jayden and Hazel. Also missed by many nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held at the WESTVIEW FUNERAL CHAPEL, 709 Wonderland Road North, London, on Monday from 2:00-4:00 and 7:00-9:00 p.m., with prayers at 7:00 p.m. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Holy Family Parish, 777 Valetta Street, London, on Tuesday, February 19, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. Interment, St. Peter’s Cemetery. Those wishing to make a donation in memory of Harold are asked to consider the Heart and Stroke Foundation or St. Vincent de Paul.

My thoughts are with all of you during this difficult time.
Aunt Madeline, Willy and Brian. Our thoughts are with you at this time. I have some wonderful memories of your visits to the farm and our family visits to your home. As we live on the west coast, we didn't see you often but when we did I shared a common bond with Uncle Harold in that we both had careers in the heavy equipment industry.
Eternal rest, grant unto Harold, O Lord and let perpetual light shine upon him. May his soul and the souls of the faithfully departed members of the Knoll family, through the mercy of God, rest in peace. Amen.
Madeline, Wil and Brian. We were saddened to hear about Harold's passing. He was such a special person to us. We have been summertime neighbours for thirty years here in Port Elgin. We will certainly miss his presence next door and in our lives..Please know that you are in our thoughts and prayers.
