Loved and respected throughout his life and in his passing, Don completed his earthly journey on Friday, February 15, 2013, at the age of 85. Beloved and loving husband for 67 years of Dorothy Patricia (Munday) and cherished and devoted father of Linda McFall (Bill), and Sandra Lipskey (Ed). Precious grandpa of Matthew Lipskey (Chelsea) and Brent Lipskey (Eva). Great grandpa to Jake and Marshall Lipskey and Emmett, Hayden, Merek and Jillian Lipskey. Don leaves behind his sisters Marion Farmer (late Ted) and Lillian McDowell (Gord). He is predeceased by his brother Wilf (late Jean) and his parents Edward and Iva (Oliver) Treitz. Don exhibited an admirable work ethic, spending 45 years employed at GSW, 56 years as an active member and past governor with the Loyal Order of the Moose, Chapter 1300, and was a longtime parishioner of the Church of the Resurrection. His tolerance, compassion, strength and unconditional love were the hallmarks of his life. Don’s family is grateful to the caring staff of Harris House at McGarrell Place: angels one and all. Visitation will be held on Wednesday from 2:00 – 4:00 and 7:00 – 9:00 p.m. at the WESTVIEW FUNERAL CHAPEL, 709 Wonderland Road North, London, where the funeral service will be conducted on Thursday, February 21, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. Private interment at Woodland Cemetery at a later date. Donations to the Alzheimer Society or the Heart and Stroke Foundation gratefully received.

I am so sorry to hear about Don passing away. I will always remember him as a very kind man and a wonderful neighbour. My condolences to the family.

I am very sorry to hear of Don's passing. He was truly a 'nice guy' and a lot of fun. I remember many occasions at his home, at the pool and around the BBQ. I always enjoyed chatting with Don and his sense of humour. He will be missed. My condolences to all the family.
