Suddenly at her residence on Sunday, June 30th, 2013, Lillian “Chris” Matheson, of London, in her 81st year. Beloved wife of Terry for 59 years. Loving mother of Michael (Heather) and Vicki Holland (Kevin Kraft). Proud and devoted Grandma of Taylor Matheson and Krista Holland. Survived by her sister Kay Brillon. Fondly remembered by many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her brothers Peter, Don and Chuck Paquette. Chris loved spending time with her family, her career with Canada Trust and also enjoyed the company of her bridge and bowling girlfriends. The memorial service will be conducted at the WESTVIEW FUNERAL CHAPEL, 709 Wonderland Road North, London, on Thursday, July 4th, 2013 at 3:00 p.m., with visitation one hour prior. Those wishing to make a donation in memory of Chris are asked to consider the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Ontario.

Matheson family, I was so very sad to learn that Chris passed away. I am thankful to have so many wonderful memories from the days of being close Whitton Ave. neighbours. Chris was like my second mother! My thoughts and prayers are with you all during this very difficult time. Love you all! Brenda

Dear Mike and Heather - It's a tough deal when you loose someone close, someone that means so much this I know for sure. Hang on to the memories, lean on each for comfort, know that your friends are there for you. While I haven't seen your Mom in a very long time I can remember like yesterday the big welcoming smile that she gave when ever we went saw Chris and Terry. She always made me feel like I was number one and I'm sure that was the same for all the rest of the gang when we were growing up. My thoughts and prayers are with you. J.M.

Thank you to everyone for your kind words and thoughts at this most difficult time. Mom was a truly amazing Lady and words can't express how much we are missing her and her beautiful charming ways.
We are so sad about the sudden and unexpected passing of Chris. We will miss her beautiful smiles and cheery hellos and chats that we had on their front lawn. She was a wonderful neighbour, an all round great woman, and an amazing gardener! We will miss her greatly! Dear Terry, Mike, Heather, Taylor, Vicki, Krista and Kevin... We are both so saddened to hear about Chris. She was such a wonderful, cheerful, kind lady and was always pleased to see you when you bumped into her. She had a smile that lit up a room. Our daughter Kelly remembers when Chris and Cora took Krista and Kelly to Storybook Gardens...they had such a fun day...the pictures prove that! Our thoughts are with you all at this time.
