Dear Bev & Roy. Jim, We had the pleasure of meeting him a few times before he left. Bev, I feel for you too much. I have no answers. I will keep you and your loved ones in my prayers, always. Love Angela.- Jim was a very pleasant person in our life and carried on a conversation quite nicely! I am truly sorry, Ed & Angela.

~ Angela & Ed Jones

Jim was a beloved first cousin who, with his twin sister, lived with my family after their mother's death in the 1940's. He was a charming, caring and warm person and will be missed by our dwindling generation. My condolances to his family, especially Bev and Joan.

~ Nancy Walsh

Bev: Jim will be sorely missed. We had many happy memories at work and at the cottage. With heartfelt sympathy, Geri and I are thinking of you and Roy and family.

Dear Bev and Roy, We were so fortunate to have met Jim in Muskoka and spend many wonderful times with him at the Wine on the Deck events. Jim's personality and good nature certainly were added value to those great days together. We send you our sincere condolences on the loss of a great father and friend, and, hope that all the good memories of him will remain with you.

Dear Bev and Roy It seems all so soon again to lose another Bryan man. I remember Jim well on our vacation to Australia with Greg and I. Particularly one day when we spied him on the beach with his sunglasses on sitting very close to two topless lovelies. I had warned him about the sun! but he was having such a fine time he didn't care. I had good conversations with Jim many times from the farm and he was always a good listener with a wry sense of humour. My deepest sympathies to you both.

~ Sandra Giancola

Dear Bev and Roy, We are sorry to hear of Jim's passing. Jim, to Bill, but Mr. Bryan to me, as we grew up next door to each other, he was always Mr. Bryan. I enjoyed his sense of humour, and even though Bill didn't have much opportunity to spend time with him, he, too, remembers your father's wonderful sense of humour. Many fond memories of our summers by the pool together and being allowed to use his typewriter for school papers late into the night. Dear Mr. Bryan, thank you for all you gave to so many, in so many ways. Peace.

~ Sharon Acton and Bill Davis

Dear Bev and Roy-thinking of you and the rest of the family as you prepare to celebrate Jim's life. Especially at this time of year I'm reminded of the many years Greg and I spent Christmas with the Campbell's and the Bryan's-always wonderful to bring our families together. I also have very fond memories of our times together at Avalon-Jim loved that cottage, Kashe Lake and the opportunities it provided to bring family and friends together. He truly was a 'gentle man', who may now be gone...but not forgotten.

~ Alden Campbell

I would like to express my sympathy to Bev. Roy, Kai, Matt & Sarah on the passing of your father & grandfather. Jim was a very gentle, sincere & kind gentleman. I was very lucky to have had his companionship for four years. I miss him & loved him to the end.
