PALLETT, Edward “Ed”– Peacefully at University Hospital, surrounded by his family, on Tuesday, December 24th, 2013, in his 74th year. Beloved husband of Gail Pallett for 50 years. Loving father of David Pallett (Kim) and Mark Pallett (Kathy). Dear papa of Elaine, Sarah, Mattaya and Kayla. Predeceased by his mother Violet and father James (1945) and remembered by his stepfather Roy Bull. Ed worked for Ontario Hydro for 35 years. Special thanks to the 7th floor nurses and staff at University Hospital, Mary Wellman and staff at Medical Priorities, Dr. Hyson, Dr. Mawji, Dr. Kovacs and the staff at ODU Cancer Clinic. Cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Ed’s Life will be held at WESTVIEW FUNERAL CHAPEL, 709 Wonderland Road North, on Thursday, January 2nd, 2014 at 3:00 p.m. with visitation one hour prior. Those wishing to make a donation in memory of Ed are asked to consider the Parkinson Society.

Gail, we were saddened yesterday when we were notified Ed had passed away on December 24. Ed was a well respected colleague and friend when I worked with him during his career with Municipal Accounting at Ontario Hydro. We will miss Ed and his humour and will keep you in our prayers.

Gail and family It was an honour to have had the pleasure to know and enjoy Ed's company. We enjoyed his special wit and looked forward to his point of view both politically and fiscally on our times together. He has also left behind a great legacy of family and friends.
