After a lengthy illness, Mary Margaret Blewett, of London, died peacefully, with family by her side, at McGarrell Place, on Monday, February 17th, 2014, at the age of 82.  She was a caring stay-at-home Mom who did an amazing job raising Michael (Cathy), Jane (John), Patrick (Shelley) and Mary.  Also loved by her 8 grandchildren:  Dana, Tory, Connor, Tyson, Raylene, Taylor, Nate and Brandon.  Mary Marg will now be joining her four-legged friend Freddy in Heaven.  A Celebration of Life will be conducted at WESTVIEW FUNERAL CHAPEL, 709 Wonderland Road North, on Thursday, February 20th, 2014 at 11:00 a.m., with visitation one hour prior.  Those wishing to make a donation in memory of Mary Marg are asked to consider the Alzheimer Society.

Dearest Mary and family- So saddened to read of your mom's passing. To know she is at rest and peace is of great comfort but the pain in your hearts feels no comfort right now. Hi Jane: I am so sorry to learn that you have lost your mom. You probably don't remember me, but I remember the best Halloween of my life, but I am right now sad to see you lost your mom. We were in grade ten and it had snowed, but we were trucking along getting tricks and treats. May you have good memories of your mom and trust that your family is there to support you.
