Audrey was a truly decent person who was highly respected in our family. Her time in Dundas was one in which she gave much back to the community. Her love and concern for her children and grandchildren was obvious; and, in like manner, their admiration for her was also obvious.

Grandma I wonder where you keep your wings. Are they hung in your closet with the rest of your things? Do you put them away and just use them at night or give them to Rosie to polish up bright. I know you have wings, for this must be true, 'cause God always gives them to Angels just like you.

~ Lisa

I cannot take credit for this poem but it truly says it all. Grandma was in exceptional woman and true Mother for all of us. I love you and will miss you everyday. You`re forever in our hearts xoxoxxo We need so say to you some things, We have thought about a lot, And if you think it's because you're ill, We swear to you it's not. It seems we never take the time To say what is in our heart, To thank you for the care you gave, And for giving us life's start. For standing strong behind us all, In whatever our chosen goal, For being there in our bad times, For comforting our souls, For Showing us that good is right, And wrong cannot prevail, To stand for what we believe is truth, And in that we shall not fail. For giving us a life that`s full, Of all that is truly blessed, Like family, and togetherness, And a heart to God confessed. We love you, Mom and always will, For you`re the centre of our soul, The wind that blows the peace of life, From beyond the distant knoll.

I was so happy to have spent time with grandmother Audrey. Her loss is felt deeply, but we'll hold onto cherished memories forever. God looked around his garden And found an empty place, He then looked down upon the earth And saw your tired face. He put his arms around you And lifted you to rest. God's garden must be beautiful He always takes the best.

~ Ashley
