Dear Cheryl and Richard, I had the privilege of growing up and living next door to a very fine family, The Stones. I called your grandparents "Aunt Dot and Uncle Pat". Your father was much older than me but I do remember the day he came home with his first car, a new brown Packard. I also was privileged to attend Bill and Shirley's wedding at the Ward farm. Five years ago I happened to be on Rosedale Avenue and able to take my daughter and granddaughter through an Open House at 558 Rosedale which was my old house. It brought back many happy memories. When I was engaged to my late husband Morris, I took your grandmother down to Turkey Point to stay with me for a visit, since he was working there. I believe she passed shortly after. That was around 1962 I think. I will share this news with my younger brother Bill Malpass. Fondest regards, Nancy Murchison (Malpass), daughter of Alma and Murray Malpass.
So sorry to hear of your Dad's passing Richard. You and I were school chums at Clara Brenton, and although it was many years ago, we all shared a neighbourhood and life at one time and should always be there in thought and spirit for old friends and neighbours. Thoughts and prayers Pam Gray
Dear Richard and family, Faye and I were sorry to hear about your Dad's passing. Our prayers are with you. Les and Faye, Your neighbours at 1129 Prince Philip Drive
