Upon hearing of my Aunt Dorothy's passing (into heaven), many fond memories of my Aunt, and my Uncle Len, came to my mind. My Aunt Dorothy worked at Silverwoods for many years. When I was a little girl, back in the 70's, she would stop by my Mom & Dad's with a BIG bag of ice cream, like fudgesicles, nutty buddies, creamsicles, etc. etc. She would love visiting with us. Several times, and we always went camping in the summertime, she would come to our rental cottages. I remember one time being at Long Point, Lake Erie, and Uncle Len lot his teeth in the Lake! Our search attempts were unsuccessful, but that did not deter him from having a good time! He went and got new teeth made when he got back to London. My Aunt and Uncle were such a loving couple. They were so full of life when they were living! They loved to travel and get out and enjoy life. I am grateful that she has touched my life with great memories and much laughter. She had a great sense of humor and a beautiful smile, a gentle and loving person she was. God rest her soul. -- Judy Catton

Larry, and Pat and family, upon hearing of your moms passing, my memories of many good times came to the forefront of my thoughts. Larry, vacations at our Grandma Pearl and Grandpa Clint's in Parry Sound have been the foundation of my life and career. Our swimming and fishing together as we grew up on the lake gave us much pleasure. One trip back to the third lake with your mom and dad, my dad, and myself resulted in us catching our limit of bass and releasing as many in a 3 hour span. aunt Dorthy had the biggest smile as she out fished your dad by a long shot. It was a rare day indeed. Our family Christmas gatherings also bring back fond memories as your mom had the only Christmas tree that I ever saw with bubbling candle lights. When Wendy and I married we were able to find bubbling candle lights of our own and we use them to this day. I always think of your mom when I am stringing the lights. Such Good memories. May you be blessed with like memories as you celebrate Aunt Dorothy's Life on Tuesday. Respectfully and with Love of our families always on our minds, Danny and Wendy and Family.
