Peacefully at St. Thomas Elgin General Hospital, on Friday, October 10th, 2014, Grace Margarite (née Weir), in her 84th year. Wife of the late Harold Cake. Daughter of the late George and Lena Weir. Beloved Mother of Sandra Mills, Randy (Becky) Cake, Alex (Carol) Cake, Lena (Steve) Scott, Jeff (Lisa) Cake, Sharon (Will) Denbok, Sherry Kaukonen and Peter (Debbie) Cake. Loving Grandma of 26 grandchildren and Great-Grandma of 34. Sister of the late Annie (Everet) Howlett, Alex (Pearl) Weir, Jessie (Harry) Thornton, Lloyd Weir and Evie Mae Weir. Sister-in-law of Florence Weir, Betty Marshall, Rosemarie Fortune, Bonnie Welsh and Elsie Cake, the late John and Elvira McCafferty, Norman Cake, Janet Rockwood, Clayton Cake and Fred Fortune. Also fondly remembered by several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her son Daniel James and daughter Fran Robins, daughter-in-law Jackie Cake and sons-in-law Ron Mills and John Robins. Visitation will be held on Sunday from 7:00 – 9:00 p.m. at WESTVIEW FUNERAL CHAPEL, 709 Wonderland Road North, where the funeral service will be conducted on Monday, October 13th, 2014 at 10:00 a.m. Those wishing to make a donation in memory of Grace are asked to consider a charity of their choice.

I'm so very sorry to hear of the passing of your mom Pete and randy an Becky. Also to u Betty. She will be greatly missed by many. She was always so kind and caring. Always there to help with the girls Taylor and Breanne an Justin. My heart goes out to u all at this very difficult time. May u rest in sweet peace Grace. Always in our hearts.
