Passed away peacefully and surrounded by her family at Parkwood Hospital on Thursday, January 8, 2015. Beloved wife of Gordon Edgar Jeanes of London. Loving sister of Dorothy Lindsay, Joan Heatherley and Sam Stinchcombe and dear sister-in-law of Pauline Stinchcombe, all of London. Predeceased by siblings Tom, Joyce, Betty and Marylee. Much loved aunt of Steven Heatherley and wife Ellen of London; Karen Orser and husband Rob of Cochrane, Alberta; Karen Lusty and husband Peter, Lynn O’Quinn and husband Mike, all of Cambridge; Cheryl Johnson and husband Paul of Ajax; Deb Mould, Tammy Heycock and husband Bryan, Dan Stinchcombe and wife Barb, all of London; and Laura-Lee Lindsay of Lambeth. Visitation will be held at WESTVIEW FUNERAL CHAPEL, 709 Wonderland Road North, London, on Sunday from 2:00-4:00 and 7:00-9:00 p.m. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Holy Family Parish, 777 Valetta Street, London, on Monday, January 12, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to the Holy Family Parish Building Fund or the London Humane Society would be appreciated.

I was saddened to hear of Ferol's death and extend my sincere sympathies to her husband, children and family. I knew Ferol from Emily Carr School in the early 1990's when we were both teaching there...she in Kindergarten and me in the Junior Division. She was an ideal Kindergarten teacher and a friendly and generous colleague. I know that many, many classes of youngsters, now adults, will fondly remember those first years of school with her as their teacher.

We are so very sad to learn of Ferol's passing. Ferol and Gord were the very best neighbours anyone could ever have. We are sorry that we are unable to attend the Visitation but please know that Gord, you are in our thoughts and prayers and we will fondly remember Ferol always, as will our daughters, Meredith and Allison.
