Glenna Marion Bowen (née Rockett)

Peacefully, on Friday, March 20th, 2015 at Victoria Hospital in her 93rd year. Dear mother of Lois and Jim Boland, Sandra McMillan and Neil and Lori Bowen. Will be fondly remembered by 5 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren. Will be sadly missed by her brother Chuck and Ella Rockett. Glenna was a lifetime member of the U.C.W. The funeral service will be conducted at WESTVIEW FUNERAL CHAPEL, 709 Wonderland Road North, London, on Wednesday, March 25th, 2015 at 11:00 a.m., with visitation one hour prior to the service. Interment at Burgessville Baptist Cemetery. Those wishing to make a donation in memory of Glenna are asked to consider their charity of choice.

Lois, Sandra and Neil: I am indeed saddened to hear of the passing of your Mom. She was kind enough to attend both our parents 50th wedding celebration in 1999 a and our Dad's funeral in 2014, so I saw her fairly recently. Her death means to me that one more patch in the fabric that was our childhood neighbourhood is now no longer in its place. Condolences, Bob Besterd

Condolences to the family of Glenna My friends and I at 170 Cherryhill Circle will miss Glenna's friendly smile. In December we had a birthday celebration for her and Audrey. Glenna enjoyed our euchre games and other social times. We will all cherish the stained glass bird with a 2012 penny in it that she made for each one of us. Her love of flowers was evident by the colourful display of flowers outside her ground floor apartment. We will miss her !

Dear Lois, Sandra and Neil: We were sorry to hear, at church, on Sunday, of your Mom's passing. I had taken her and my Mom out to lunch, late last summer. We had such a lovely visit and catch up.
