To Theresa and all of the Johnston family, I am so sorry to hear of your mother's passing. I remember so well the times I visited your house and always looked forward to going to your house. I know what it is like to lose a mother. I lost mine two years ago at the age of 98. (Ruby Whiting). I have missed not being in contact with you people, but Merilyn informed us that your mother had died. I hope you know that God is always with you and I and my family will be praying and remember you in your hearts. Love you all. The best thing is we have the hope of meeting our loved ones in heaven. Keep the faith and remember John 3:16.

Theresa, Paul, Sheryl, and Craig, and your families, I think you know how very dear your Mom was to me, to us. I tried every way I could think of to be able to be there on Saturday, but in the end I knew I couldn't be. But we will be there with you on Saturday in our hearts. Your Mom was amazing and changed my life in so many ways. Looking forward to seeing her again. Our thoughts and prayers are with you in this sad time. No matter the age or the circumstance, loss is so hard. We love you all... Tenny and Joy.

Thelma will be remembered as a very special friend and partner in the ministry of Bible translation. She was a joy to know through many years as she edited books and articles and also for her sweet friendship. Especially enjoyed were times in tea rooms in the Carolina hill country! She is greatly missed. May all her family be aware of Yahweh's comfort in the weeks ahead. Shalom.
