Unexpectedly at University Hospital on Sunday, August 23, 2015 at the age of 67. Beloved husband of Arlene. Dear father of Jenna Sleziuk (Mark) and the late Stacey Ferguson. Loving Papa of Sara, Amy, Lilly, Ryan, Noah and Natalie. Son of Katherine and the late Norman Redick. Brother of Orval, Bob, Hazel, Vi and Shirley. A memorial service will be conducted at WESTVIEW FUNERAL CHAPEL, 709 Wonderland Road North, London, on Thursday, August 27th, 2015 at 1:00 p.m., with visitation one hour prior. Private family interment of ashes at Mount Pleasant Cemetery at a later date. Those wishing to make a donation in memory of Dan are asked to consider the LHSF Cancer Program.

Dear Arlene, Orval, Shirley, Bob, Hazel and Vi, We are so sorry for your loss. Dan was a great man. We enjoyed our time playing cards with Dan and all of you. Dan has the sweetest smile and was always very welcoming. Our prayers and thoughts are with you and your family during this sad and difficult time. Leonard and Inderjit McManus
Arlene, Jenna and families Very sorry to hear of your loss. I have very fond memories and funny stories of Dan and spending lots of time at your home over the years. Stacey and I many years ago wanted to paint Easter eggs, Dan said we could but we had to eat the eggs. We tried swallowing them uncooked as it never crossed our minds we could cook them.....all the while Dan was at the table snickering to himself.....
