Passed away peacefully on Friday, October 9th, 2015, in her 73rd year. Wife, companion and confidante of Giuseppe Stracuzza. Cherished and devoted mother of Carmelina, Francesca and Giovanni. Treasured Nonna of Aurora, Noah and Kohl. Loving sister of Santa (predeceased) and Domenico (predeceased) Scopelliti, Maria and Luigi (predeceased) Ierardi, Giovanni and Teresa (predeceased) Parente, Bruno and Angela Parente, and Antonio and Mariolina Parente. Sister-in-law of Carmela and Pasquale (predeceased) Cotroneo, Maria and Pasquale Morena, Rosa and Giuseppe Germanō, Francesca and Giovanni Degaetano and Domenico and Maria Stracuzza. Fondly remembered by her nieces, nephews, and extended family and friends, both in Canada and Italy. Visitation will be held at WESTVIEW FUNERAL CHAPEL, 709 Wonderland Road North, London, on Wednesday from 3:00 – 5:00 and 7:00 – 9:00 p.m. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at ST. MARY’S PARISH, 345 Lyle Street, London, on Thursday, October 15th, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. Private entombment at St. Peter’s Cemetery & Holy Family Chapel Mausoleum. Those wishing to make a donation in memory of Rosa are asked to consider the Canadian Diabetes Association.
