Harold “Huggy” McKittrick, of Mount Brydges, Ontario, died peacefully at Strathroy Middlesex General Hospital on Saturday, October 24, 2015 at the age of 71. Huggy is survived by his wife of 28 years, Penny; his son Blaine; and his daughter Trina and her husband Don Gammie. Grandpa Huggy is loved by his grandchildren Kyle, Nicholas and Nathan. Also loved by brother-in-law and buddy Bob Westrop and wife Wanda, sister-in-law Cheryl and nieces Shana and Carly. Special thoughts and thanks to Dr. Gomes and the ICU Angels at S.M.G.H., and heartfelt love and gratitude to Lee Woodman (Jedley) for getting us through this difficult time. Visitation will be held on Sunday from 2:00 – 4:00 p.m. at WESTVIEW FUNERAL CHAPEL, 709 Wonderland Road North, London, where a Celebration of Huggy’s life will be conducted on Monday, November 2nd, 2015 at 3:00 p.m., with visitation from 2:00 – 3:00 p.m. Those wishing to make a donation in memory of Huggy are asked to consider the Myasthenia Gravis Foundation c/o the London Health Sciences Foundation.

To Harold's Family: I was Harold's Dental Hygienist for many years in London.. I was always happy when his name was on my "List" for the day.. My step-son worked with Harold on many cases and that connection was special.. Please know that I will think of you as you grieve the loss of this "bear" of a gentleman.. May he rest in peace..
