At peopleCare Oakcrossing on Thursday, October 29, 2015, with family at her side, Mrs. Katherine “Kay” Valdron, of London, in her 87th year. Wife of the late Valmond “Val” Valdron (1998). Loving mother of Elaine Allison, Dave Valdron (Lynda), all of London, and Daryl Valdron (Lorey), of Dartmouth, Nova Scotia. Dear sister of Louise Methot, of Dalhousie, New Brunswick. Cherished Grandma of Sheena (Christian), Marcy (Dave), Ryan (Megan) and Jordan (Alexandra), and Great-Grandma of Jake, Danika, Erik, Carter and Desmond. Cremation has taken place. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at HOLY FAMILY PARISH, 777 Valetta Street, London, on Wednesday, November 4, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. Private family interment of ashes at St. Peter’s Cemetery. Kay’s family would like to express their gratitude to the Oakcrossing staff for their care and compassion. Donations in memory of Kay may be made to the Alzheimer Outreach Services of McCormick Home, London.

Kay brought a sparkle of wit and joy to all who had the privilege of caring for at PeopleCare. She will be deeply missed. My thoughts and prayers are with her family and friends. May you find the Peace that passes all understanding.
