Peacefully at home on Thursday, December 31st, 2015, Ruth Evelyn (Thomson) Vollick, of London, at the age of 83. Beloved wife of the late Lawrence Vollick. Loving mother of Cynthia (Wayne) Crosbie, Wayne (Rita) and Paul (Lucy). Also loved by her many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Dear sister and sister-in-law of Alex, Gray, Pat and Barbara. Predeceased by siblings and their spouses Helen and Albert, Myrne and Matt, Archie and Shirley, Gladys, and Ron. Visitation will be held at WESTVIEW FUNERAL CHAPEL, 709 Wonderland Road North, London, on Sunday from 2:00 – 4:00 and 7:00 – 9:00 p.m. The funeral will be conducted at METROPOLITAN UNITED CHURCH, 468 Wellington Street, London on Monday, January 4th, 2016 at 1:00 p.m., with visitation one hour prior to the service. Interment at Mount Pleasant Cemetery. Those wishing to make a donation in Ruth’s memory are asked to consider The Lung Association or Metropolitan United Church’s Memorial fund.
