Passed away at Victoria Hospital on Tuesday, January 12, 2016. Beloved wife of Keith. Loving sister of Elaine Cox (Gord). Dear aunt of Sheri Webb (Chris), Glenna Stephens, Tim Cox (Melissa) and Chris Cox (Julie). Fondly remembered by her great nieces and nephews: Kevin and Derek Webb, Jessica Van Duzen, Sydney, Mallory, Hayden, Nathan, Lauren and Amy Cox. Maureen will also be missed by many friends. A private celebration of Maureen’s life will be held at WESTVIEW FUNERAL CHAPEL, 709 Wonderland Road North, London, on Friday, January 15, 2016. Private interment of ashes at Mount Pleasant Cemetery.

Maureen saw the best in everyone. She had so many wonderful qualities that her friends will never forget: her humour, empathy, courage, endurance, compassion, resilience, reliability. She was truly interested in her friend's children and grandchildren, and everything that had to do with YOU as her friend. I will miss our weekly bridge games and "hot topics". A good life is when you smile often, laugh a lot, and realize how blessed you are for what you have. This was Maureen, and I was blessed to have been her friend.
