My sincere condolences to the Fitch family, Hedley will now be with Joanie where he spent most of his time loving and looking after her with a very happy loving heart, raising their family, always with a dog. He will be able to have a drink with Ted just like they used to do for many many years. I will miss our many visits standing on the boulevard, in the lane, on the telephone, or wherever having conversations about politics, baseball and many other things, all of which we didn't agree on. I am sad to say that my window monitoring days are over, you will have to wait until I join the three of you to bring you up to date. God Bless Patti.
It was very shocking and very sad to hear of Hedley's passing. We had may good times with he and Joan in Port Dover and of course growing up with Hedley! It is comforting to know he is with his beloved Joan in heaven. Our sincere condolences to the family. May he rest in peace. Warm regards, his cousin John and wife Mary Lee
We were sad to hear of the passing of Mr. Fitch and express our condolences to the family. Frank Powers

My wife Toni and I would like to offer our belated condolences to the family of Hedley. I (John) worked with Hedley at General Motors Diesel Division in the 1980s and enjoyed his company very much. Although we did not stay in touch, I found myself thinking about Hedley this week when I learned of the passing of jazz musician 'Toots" Thielemans. Hedley was a mine of information on jazz recordings and I learned so much in talking to him. May he and Joan be resting in peace. (And listening to Miles, Bird and Ella!) Sincerely, John and Toni Griffith, Woodstock ON.
