Jessica, I am very sorry for your loss. I'll keep you and your family in my prayers.
We are very sorry for the loss of Dorothy. She was a very good friend to our Mom, Elsa Hale and always such a pleasure to see. She brightened the room. I remember her many visits on Alexandra Street. I last spoke to her at the visitation for our Mom, last March. She will be missed. Our deepest condolences. Val, Vicki and Barbara ( Elsie's daughters)
This is rather late but was not able to contact you at the time of Dorothy's death. Your mom was a dear friend to our mom Lucy and they had many good times together. Dorothy was a very sweet and genuine person, very sincere and thoughtful woman. Many a time she picked Lucy up for rides to church. She was always very pleasant to talk with and did not even look her age. I recall she came to visit our mom when she was in hospital for the last time before her passing. Now the two of them are together with the Lord!! That is your hope and consolation. It is so very hard to lose one's mom but if we know we will see her again that is all we need.
