Gail Ruth Saltes

March 30, 2016

Suddenly and peacefully on Wednesday, March 30th, 2016 in her 56th year at University Hospital surrounded by family and friends. Gail is the beloved wife of David for over 35 years and loving mother of Michael (Jennifer), Dustin (Briar) and Jordan (Jessica). Dearest daughter of Willard and Shirley Grein of Ayton, Ontario. Gail will also be missed by her three brothers: Rick (Monica) of Seaforth, David (Shawna) of Neustadt, and Rodney (Kelly) of Hanover, along with her nieces and nephews: Adam, Matthew, Rachel, Kaitlyn, Joshua and great-niece Brooklyn. Gail was born in Hanover, Ontario, on December 15th, 1960 and grew up in Ayton, Ontario. Gail will be cherished forever by the many great friends she touched over the years. She opened her heart and home to many people and asked nothing in return. Gail will always be remembered as the smart, passionate, gentle, kind, loving, nurturing and beautiful woman she was. The angels came to take Gail home through the gates of heaven and she is reunited with all those she loved that passed before her. Visitation will be held on Monday from 2:00-4:00 and 6:00-9:00 p.m. at WESTVIEW FUNERAL CHAPEL, 709 Wonderland Road North, London, where the funeral service will be conducted on Tuesday, April 5th, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. Donations can be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Ontario or the London Humane Society.
