After a brief battle with pancreatic cancer on Thursday, April 7th, 2016 in his 72nd year. Loved husband of Ruth (Dengate). Cherished father of April Campbell (Paul) and Bobbie Sue Clifford. Loved stepfather of Michelle Gartshore and Laurie Irving (John). Will be missed by step-granddaughter Madison and step-great-granddaughters Ainsley and Ryla. Loved brother of Sharon Olmstead (Bill) and John Thachuk (Debbie). Dear brother-in-law of Ken and Shirley Reavely and Wes and Donna Dengate. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his sister and brother-in-law Rose Marie and Bernie Van Erp (2014). A special thank you to the VON Palliative Care nurses and Dr. Khan for their compassion and extraordinary care. Cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held at NORTH PARK COMMUNITY CHURCH, 1510 Fanshawe Park Road East, London, on Friday, April 15th, 2016 at 1:00 p.m. Those wishing to make a donation in memory of Bob are asked to consider the London Health Sciences Foundation – Cancer Centre, Canadian Diabetes Association or North Park Community Church.
