Jean Asiouras

Passed away in his sleep very peacefully on Sunday, May 1^st, 2016 at University Hospital, London, in his 92^nd year. Jean was born in Zevgolatio, Greece, on February 27^th, 1925. Survived by brothers Mike (Dina) of London, and Nika (Antonia) in Greece. Predeceased by brother George and sister Katerina. Jean will be missed by many nieces, nephews, seven great-nephews and also by many cousins in Greece and the U.S.A. Jean, along with his brother Michael, owned and operated a Greek grocery store in London for 40 years. The family wish to thank the doctors and staff at University Hospital for their excellent care, as well as the staff of Mount Hope Centre for Long Term Care for caring for John for the last year of his life. The funeral service will be celebrated at HOLY TRINITY GREEK ORTHODOX CHURCH, 131 Southdale Road West, London, on Wednesday, May 4^th, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. Interment to follow at Woodland Cemetery.
