Grace May McCall (nee McClinchey)

May 30, 2016

Of Lambeth passed away peacefully at home, on May 30, 2016, with family by her side, in her 63rd year.  Loving partner and best friend of Terry Peters, for many happy years. Beloved best friend and loving sister of George McClinchey (Nova) of Mississauga, best friend, loving sister and confidant to Mary Bell (Bryan-deceased) of Blyth. Cherished loving sister of Ruth Fiebelkorn (Harvey-deceased) of Winnipeg and Helen Noble (Don) of Belgrave. Aunt Grace will be lovingly remembered by nieces Terry Fenton and family of Cambridge, Leanne Datema (Wilfred) and family of Clinton, nephews Dean Bell (Jody) and family of Burlington, David Bell and family of Blyth.  Loved and fondly thought of by Terry’s family: mother Alma Peters, brothers Glenn Peters (Rita) and family of London, and Kenneth Peters (Gloria) and family of Ingersoll. Pre-deceased by special mother Bernice McClinchey (2012), father John (1965), husband David (1998), nephew Devon Bell in infancy, and dear nephew Todd Fiebelkorn (2013). Grace and Terry had wonderful loyal support from many long-time friends, and for their kindness, we will be forever grateful. Grace formerly worked for Northern Telecom and later for Zurich/ING.  Grace spent many happy hours in her flower gardens, and enjoyed the hummingbirds and other visitors to her yard. Thank you to the wonderful Nurses and Doctors of LHSC Cancer Centre, Dr. J. Younus, Dr. M. Nelham, Dr.E. Yu, Dr. K. Hamilton and the Palliative team, and Dr. C. Hann of the Juravinski Cancer Centre, Hamilton Ontario and the VON nurses. I was deeply shocked and saddened to hear of Grace's passing. I spoke with her many times over the telephone when she worked for Zurich/ING Insurance Company as I work in an broker's office in Blyth (Elliott Insurance and now Orr Insurance) She was a wonderful person and always had a cheery attitude and would go the extra mile to help you is she could. She would sometimes pop into our office with Bernice when she was in Blyth. We had some wonderful visits. Please accept my condolences.

Grace embraced that motto and certainly lived each day. What a privilege it was for us to be included in the circle of friends of this great lady who never hesitated to tell it like it is. Breakfast at Angel's and Windsor casino outings will never be the same. We will miss her smile and laugh as she told the story behind "Give me everything." Also remembered fondly by Arlie's dad, Arnold, and sister, Heather.
