I remember Mary well from our 5 years at St. Mary's Academy in Windsor. She was a good friend who was bright, athletic and quiet with a bit of the blarney in her eyes. May she rest in the palm of the Lords hand and be cradled in peace.

Although we never really kept in touch after High School, I still feel close to Mary and remember the great years we had at SMA. She was solid, peaceful and caring--not to mention a lot of fun! Some people come into our lives then go. Others leave an impression on our hearts and we are never, ever the same. I am grateful to have known her.
The world is suddenly a poorer place without Mary's compassionate, intelligent, sparkling understanding of it. My deepest sympathies to all who will miss the comfort of knowing that she was out there doing good, even when we no longer shared the privilege of walking with her on a regular basis. I too am honoured to cherish her memory always, as another SMA comrade.
I hold good memories of Mary from our high school days at St. Mary´s Academy. I also remember her courage and missionary spirit. May she be at peace and my condolences to all her family and friends. S. Agnes Hoy,S.N.J.M. São Paulo, Brazil.
Mary: intelligent, witty, kind, compassionate and a kickass cardplayer! I have treasured memories of times in Montreal with Mary. Sincere condolences to Pat, Mo and all the Mooney family.
I was sad to hear of Mary's passing...she was wonderful to work with, caring, funny, smart and she made sure things got done. My sympathies to her family and friends.
Pat and Maureen and family, we were very saddened to learn of Mary's passing. She was an amazing, giving, kindhearted and caring person. In Dad's two short years being at the Dearness Home we always enjoyed seeing and chatting with Mary. She will truly be missed by so many family and friends including her friends at the Dearness Home. "If every tear we cried for you, became a star above, You would stroll through angels gardens, lit by everlasting love" Rest in Peace Mary. Our sincere sympathy Bob and Loretta Lefave and family
Whether she was living in Windsor, Montreal or London Mary Mooney left her mark because she was a wise and compassionate human being with a great sense of humour. Extremely blessed intellectually and athletically she was nevertheless humble. Always ready to lend an ear she comforted others though she herself suffered. A beautiful person with a strong faith she will always remain an inspiration. Miss you Mary. Our heartfelt condolences to all the Mooneys
To all the Mooney Family, Sorry to hear the loss of Mary.It has been some time that we have seen or spoke with Mary. These moment do bring back wonderful memories on Mark st. From myself , Mary , Mom. Our condolences to All.
I only recently learned of Mary's passing and was sad to know that she had been in Montreal all these years. We could have connected and recalled wonderful memories from SMA. Sr. Gloria (Assunta) said one day that it was only from Mary that she would have accepted a major paper whose cover page was the only page with writing on it. Mary had stapled the cover page to a pile of blank sheets. I was telling that story to someone from McGill today (March 6, 2017) and she laughed. She was a wonderful person.
