Peacefully, on Monday, September 19, 2016, Winnifred Sheppard, of London, in her 84th year. Cherished wife of Ken. Missed by her sisters-in-law Eleanor Mullins, Florence Hayes and Shirley Ammonn (Horst), and by many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her siblings Catherine Duncan (Matthew), Helen DeFinney (Jim) and Jack Keogh (Mary); brothers-in-law Bill Mullins, and Tom Hayes. Visitation will be held at WESTVIEW FUNERAL CHAPEL, 709 Wonderland Road North, London, on Sunday from 2:00-4:00 and 7:00-9:00 p.m., with prayers at 3:45 p.m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at ST. JUSTIN’S PARISH, 855 Jalna Boulevard, London, on Monday, September 26, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. Interment at St. Peter’s Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Winnie may be made to the Alzheimer Society or London Regional Cancer Program.

Ken, we are so sorry for your loss. Winnie had a wonderful sense of humour and a very sharp wit. She was fun to be with and loved to be around others. I didn't realize til today we shared a middle name. She and Ken were always welcome at a Carey family gathering. She will be at peace. Mary Eileen and Jim Carey-Hill
