I am really sorry to hear this, he was a good man. He always had more food and more patience for me than I deserved. He taught me the importance of being nice to people...even when I did not deserve it. I will always remember his pipes, his laughter and his kindness, the gingerbread houses and darts. We love you all. The Wessel family.

My father, my sisters, and I were very saddened to hear of Jim's passing. As my father says, Jim was a very good neighbor and a very kind man. We are sad that he had to suffer at the end of his life with the terrible illness that cancer is and encourage you now to think not on that but on the many wonderful good times! Loss is difficult, as my family knows well, but remembering the good times and the love of the person lost can be a great comfort, as we learned. So we encourage you to think of the best of times, of Jim laughing, of Jim loving and wrap yourselves in those thoughts. with our sincerest condolences Theresa, Elsa, Helen and Miron

I was so sorry to hear of Jim's illness and then his passing. Jim was my first summer job boss at Bell Canada many years ago. He was a mentor to me who in the future years became a family friend. Although it's been a number of years since we last crossed paths Jim's words of wisdom were never far from mind. There is no question he will be missed. My condolences to Gwen and the family and I regret that I won't be able to attend the Memorial service. Sadly I wish you all lots of strength over the next few days and in the future.
