It is with mixed emotions of deep sorrow and profound blessing that we announce that Kadi went to her eternal place of rest, with family by her side on Tuesday, November 22nd, 2016 in her 28th year. Her courage, perseverance, optimism and continued sense of humour have been an inspiration to all who knew her. Cherished daughter of Angela Gibson and Craig Gibson. Loving sister of Tyler. Beloved granddaughter of Judy and Randy Finney, and Jill and the late Don Gibson. Kadi will be fondly remembered by her uncle Brad Gibson, her cousin Stephen and her many friends. The family wish to extend their sincere thanks to the doctors, nurses and staff at London Health Sciences Centre for their on-going care and compassion throughout Kadi’s journey. Visitation was held on Friday, November 25th.
A memorial service to celebrate Kadi’s life has been re-scheduled for Wednesday, December 7th, 2016 at 7:30 p.m. at WESTVIEW FUNERAL CHAPEL, 709 Wonderland Road North, London.

I am so sadden to hear about this news. Kadi was a great person and friend. My deepest condolences.
I guess social media is the more popular way to communicate. I read literally hundreds of comments about you. Common threads: loyal friend,compassionate, did not judge, made people feel they had value, funny , talented, strong. You impacted people way more than you could imagine. What more could a proud Gma and papa ask for? What a bond we had! Ever since you were little until the end, you always departed or ended a phone conversation with "I Love You" You gave us our greatest joy, now our most sad. WE LOVE YOU!!!
I have no words and am still stunned at such a profound loss of Kadi, vibrant, funny, beautiful young woman. Will be missed by so many.. Psalm 147:3 He healeth the broken in heart, and bindeth up their wounds. can only leave my crutch and his promise to me so many years ago <3
Kadi was a wonderful friend and coworker and I also consider her family for she was at our family thanksgiving and Christmas dinners. I will miss you so much and your positively and kindness to everyone you met. Maybe you rest in paradise my love.
I can't even imagine the grief you must be feeling right now. While I never met her, the pictures you have shared show a vibrate woman who loved you dearly. No mother should have to bury their child -I am deeply sorry for your loss. Know that she is now watching over you and if you pay attention, you will feel her near- she will show you signs. My little Kadi. My sunshine. I cannot believe that you have left us. Your smile, positivity, love for all and radiant energy is what I will remember the most. I will never forget those long weeks that we spent together, our chats about love and God and our passion for music. May you sing with the angels and rest in Jesus' arms. We are so sorry to hear about Kadi. She had such a sparkling personality and an aura of charm! We were so happy to have known her during her too short time on earth. Our thoughts and prayers are with you all.

Angela, I am heart broken for you, Tyler and your whole family. Your daughter was one in a million. She touched me and many of the staff I work with in the emerg, and I personally was so glad to know her through Tyler. No matter how ill, she always displayed a sense of humour and determination. Please know that you are in our hearts and Kadi will always be remembered.
