Olga Nakonecznyj

Peacefully on Thursday, January 19^th, 2017, at Sydenham Retirement Residence in Wallaceburg, in her 94^th year. Beloved wife of the late Mychajlo “Mike” Nakonecznyj (May 16, 2015) for 65 years.  Loving mother of Alla (Doug) Steen and Eugene (Jane) Nakonecznyj.  Proud Grandma of Laura Steen.  Olga had a passion for music, travel and ballroom dancing.  She was a long-standing member of Holy Trinity Ukrainian Orthodox Church and loved to sing in the church choir.  Visitation will be held on Tuesday from 7:00-9:00 p.m., with prayers at 7:00 p.m., at WESTVIEW FUNERAL CHAPEL, 709 Wonderland Road North, London, where the funeral service will be conducted on Wednesday, January 25^th, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. Interment in Mount Pleasant Cemetery. The family extend special thanks to Dr. Mayo and the staff of Sydenham Residence for their special care and support.  Those wishing to make a donation in memory of Olga are asked to consider Holy Trinity Ukrainian Orthodox Church or The Arthritis Society.
