Peacefully at Exeter Villa on Tuesday, February 7th, 2017 in her 98th year. Beloved wife of the late Noble Ward (1990). Cherished mother of Lawrence Ward and his wife Marlene, and mother-in-law of Margaret Ward. Dear grandmother of Lori (Frank), Lisa, Wanda (Gord), Brenda, Bill, Cathy (Ken), Larry, Jim (Suzie) and John (Lezlie), great-grandmother of Devan, Jessica, Hannah, Ian, Jack, Elizabeth, Jordan, Dylan, Eric, Josh, Kiel, Keegan, Evelyn, Alana, Hailey, Braiden, Connor, Montana, Shayla and Glen, and great-great-grandmother of Liam and Rosalie. Predeceased by her children Wayne Ward (2013), Rosemary McLeod (1969), granddaughter Vicki, and siblings: Millie, Lillie, Wesley and Cecil. Dearly remembered by her friend, Pat Bisback. A heartfelt thank you to the compassionate staff of Exeter Villa for their wonderful care. The funeral service will be conducted at WESTVIEW FUNERAL CHAPEL, 709 Wonderland Road North, London, on Saturday, February 11th, 2017 at 10:00 a.m., with visitation one hour prior. Interment at Mount Pleasant Cemetery. Those wishing to make a donation in memory of Ada are asked to consider the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Canada.
Say not in grief that she has gone, but give thanks that she was yours.

Our condolences to the family. As I think of Ada I remember a lot of the things I did growing up with the Ward family in Wiarton. Great memories I have always cherished .

We are deeply sorry for your loss, Ada has been a friend of the family all my life. I recall many good times spent with the Ward family, she will be greatly missed.
