It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Ed, peacefully at home, surrounded by his family on Thursday, February 23rd, 2017 in his 79th year. Cherished husband of Sandy. Loving father of Karen Froese (Reiny), Laurie (Jeff Chadwick), David (Liz), and Robert (Jodie). Dear step-father of Jason Cunningham and Nicole Kutney. Proud grandfather of Travis, Hilary, Devon, Raeden, Meaghan, Abby and Rowan and great-grandfather of Ava. Ed will be greatly missed by his siblings Rosalind Teplicky, Irene Azmier (Morris), Lillian Barrett, Gerald, Karl (Betty) and Don (Suzanne) and their families. Ed will be remembered by his family and friends for his perfectionist approach to everything from the tool box to the barbecue. Visitation will be held at WESTVIEW FUNERAL CHAPEL, 709 Wonderland Road North, London, on Monday, February 27th, 2017 from 2:00-4:00 and 7:00–9:00 p.m. where the funeral service will be conducted on Tuesday, February 28th, 2017 at 1:00 p.m. Cremation to follow. Those wishing to make a donation in memory of Ed are asked to consider the VON Middlesex Elgin or the Canadian Mesothelioma Foundation.
