Of Ilderton, passed away peacefully at University Hospital on Monday, February 27th, 2017 at the age of 85 after a brave 12 year battle with C.O.P.D. Beloved husband of Shirley Dann (née Mills) for 62 years. Loving Dad of Nancy Eaton (Jim), Karen Urbshott, Patti Bedard (Rick) and missed by his son Kevin (1980). Cherished Papa of Crystal, Michael, Nick, Danielle, Caresse, Jenna and Devon. Dear Great-Papa of nine great-grandchildren. Dear brother of Madeline Parkinson and Lorna Lang (Gary). Predeceased by his parents George and Zella Dann. Joe enjoyed playing cards as well as his adult paint by numbers. Visitation will be held at WESTVIEW FUNERAL CHAPEL, 709 Wonderland Road North, London, on Sunday, March 5th, 2017 from 2:00-5:00 p.m. The funeral service will be conducted on Monday, March 6th, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. A private interment will take place at the Hyde Park Cemetery at a later date. Those wishing to make a donation in memory of Joe are asked to consider the Ontario Lung Association or a charity of choice.
