Peacefully, with her son by her side, at St. Joseph’s Hospice, London, on Saturday, March 18th, 2017. Devoted mother of Geoffrey Heard. Cherished sister of David Rummerfield. A memorial service will be conducted at WESTVIEW FUNERAL CHAPEL, 709 Wonderland Road North, London, on Thursday, March 23rd, 2017 at 1:00 p.m., with visitation one hour prior. Those wishing to make a donation in memory of Joan are asked to consider St. Joseph’s Hospice, London.

Our thoughts go out to Joan's son at this time. She will be missed by all her neighbours as well as her close friend Brian. She filled her life with such a variety of activities and travels and was always a pleasure to be with.
Extending my heart felt sympathy to Joan's son, Geoff, and her devoted companion Brian. I have many fond memories of Joan....she was a good neighbour and friend....always so gentle and kind in her ways. I shall miss our chats.

We are thinking of you Geoff at this very sad time in the loss of your beloved Mom. Your Mom my friend was a very unique lady who enjoyed many adventures in her life. We will truly miss her
