We are so very sorry for your loss. Donna, you and Kirk were a fun loving couple, you were there for him all these years as he was there for you. A good father and husband. Then one moment that changed everything from now on. Depression like many illnesses can have severe outcomes. You are in our thoughts and prayers.

My sincerest condolences to all concerned. I have many memories of sharing the 'late' lunch at RSS in gr. 12 and 13 with Kirk. He will always be Capt. Kirk in my lifetime! The Running Chicken will never leave my heart and I still have a copy! Rest in peace, Kirk.

We shared many laughs and tears together over the years, and will treasure those memories always. He was a good man, and will be missed by all. I was truly saddened to hear of Kirk's passing so soon. I was very fortunate to have known this exceptional man and to call him friend. Dear Donna and family My deepest sympathy. I only just heard of Kirk's passing. I had a vivid dream the other night. I was having lunch with Kirk at his house and steadily more and more friends gathered. I recognized many as high school friends I had lost touch with. I was inspired to search the internet for Kirk and sad to find that he had passed away. He was a good friend in high school and made school bearable for me. Donna and family, words cannot express adequately the impact of hearing of Kirk's passing. As heart rendering as it was to me, being a relatively recent addition to hs circle of hometown acquaintances through the wonder of the internet compared to others from our area, I am none-the-less appreciative for the opportunity of sharing conversations with him. He always spoke highly of his love for you, Donna, and his children. His wit, his love for music, and his artistry in paintings and photography have brought joy to many. His presence among us will be sorely missed. May strength, comfort, and solace attend your hearts and thoughts as you journey through this season of grief at his passing. Many hugs to each of you.

I am stunned by this sad news. Kirk and I were messenging each other on Friday night discussing a possible reunion. We had recently reconnected through Facebook. A wonderful friend all through high school and college. Condolences to Donna, Cameron and Jessica. Kirk will be sorely missed by all that new him. RIP.
