Celia and family, many prayers during this difficult time. David was a very caring and loving man and I am blessed to have known him. He will be deeply missed by many.

We have known David for many years and have admired his brilliance and his passion for his science. His contributions to medical research are monumental and have contributed to the regaining of life for many patients. David was a generous, eloquent and kind man. We share your grief in a life ended too soon.

~ Cal Stiller

Dear Celia, I am so sad to hear that David has passed away. I always enjoyed my time with him, and yourself, during the many years we knew each other. David always had time to explain a concept to me--be it travel, science, wine or how he cooked lamb. I hope you are well. Sincerely, Carmen Jones

Dear Celia, Our thoughts are with you and your family during this difficult time. David taught me more about science, being yourself, and living than anyone else in my life. He was a great mentor to many, an innovator that transcends all of his awards, and a great friend to so many people around the world. The times we shared on various travels and of course trying desperately to be competent golfers will never be forgotten. I wish the best for you and your family. With deepest sympathy, Justin
