I was Boomer's first secretary at Big V Pharmacies in 1984. He was an amazing boss, leader, and person. He loved his race car and his family! His happy, robust personality was one of a kind. I had a dream this week about Boomer and decided to look him up. I was sad to read about his passing. I have no doubt he is with the happy angels looking down protecting the rest of us. My condolences to the friends and family of a very remarkable man.

Dear Jayne and family: Boomer was very generous with his time and talents on behalf of the Sisters of St. Joseph. I sat with him on our Finance Committee a number of years ago and it was always a learning time for me as he shared his thoughtful reflections and suggestions regarding the issues at hand. His dear aunts, Sister Edith and Sr. Mary Martha were definitely among those who joyfully greeted his soul as it received it's promised reward.
Dear Jayne and the Borschke family: We were both shocked to read of Boomer's passing in the Hunt Club email. We are currently in Western Canada. Our condolences to you and your family. You are in our thoughts and prayers. Boomer will be missed by the London community.

To Jayne and the entire extended Borschke family, Our deepest condolences. Boomer was a man of faith and we know that presently, he is being comforted in Jesus' lap. We will see him again on the day that there is no more pain and no more suffering. When all tears are wiped away and the final enemy has been conquered by Christ. His gentle nature, sensitivity, and generosity will always be remembered. The first occasion that I met Boomer was on a duck hunt at Bradley's. The evening of the first day, Boomer received a phone call. When he came back, he was trembling, hardly able to speak, and for a long time he wept inconsolably like a child. His beloved dog had passed away. That event, captured, in a small way, his capacity for love. It made me feel an instant kinship with Boomer, which has always remained. Marie and my thoughts are with with you all. We are praying for you. May God comfort you as only he can.
I didn't know Boomer well but spent a week with him in Florida a few years back, playing golf. His nickname seemed to belie his nature, which was quiet, polite and always respectful - a true gentlemen in every way. I was sorry to hear of his passing. My sincere condolences to his family.
Dear Jayne our sympathies are with you and your family. Boomer always lived life to the fullest. He will be missed by many. Kindest regards, Rick & Sandy
