Dear Mimi , Mary Jane and family, Wow 64 years married, what an accomplishment ! I have only known Hubert for a short time but I will miss him in the hall or on his deck and our chats we had. He had a great outlook on life, great smile and gentle ways. Our condolences to all. Maggie & Jim

Our sympathy on the death of Hubert. Lawrence worked for his brother John for quite a few years and John also sold us an acre of land next to their property to build our first house. Hubert built that house so we got to know him quite well in the fall of 1965. We have many fond memories of those months and how helpful Hubert was to a couple of novice home builders. We know he will be greatly missed. Lawrence and Sheila Greenslade

Dear Mimi, Jill and I are very sorry for your loss. Hubert will be missed by many people.I will particularly miss our sometimes- lengthy conversations in which we attempted ( without much luck ! ) to solve many of the world's most pressing problems. His honest opinions and dry humour were always appreciated. Our sincere condolences to you and your family. Michael and Jill Simmons

Janet and I were truly saddened to hear about the passing of my dear Uncle Hubert. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him. We want to convey our sincerest condolences to Aunt Mimi and the rest of the family. It will be difficult times ahead for a while, but I promise, it will get better. You'll never stop missing him, but the days will slowly get easier. Janet and I wish for you all the very best in the difficult days ahead, but we know that you'll all be ok. With love from Janet Netje and Peter.
