Sending sympathy from Rowntree Memorial United Church. My name is Freda Owen and Alice sat in a pew behind me on Sundays. She was a good friend of Lew Stacey and they sat together. I had lovely visits with both of them at church. Phyllis Brady used to pick up Alice for church on Sundays. Then, Phyllis visited with Alice at the hospital and at Mount Hope. She kept us informed of her visits. I am sorry that I cannot make it to Westview. Alice and her family will be in our thoughts and prayers today and days to come at Rowntree.

To Murray and Larry - We were very sorry to hear about the passing of Alice. She was a fine sole who leaves many happy memories with us from the Bluewater Beach days when your mom and dad spent so much time there, to our contact through Rowntree. She wore a perpetual smile and had a wry sense of humour. Yes .... happy memories indeed. Nan (Ruth McCosh .... still living in Goderich) sends her regards too. She was a good friend of your mom's over the years.
