Passed away peacefully at Alexandra Marine and General Hospital, Goderich, on Saturday, October 21, 2017 in her 96th year. Born in Chauvin, Alberta, she was the beloved daughter of the late Margaret and Edwin Miller. Loving wife of the late George Griffin (1964). Cherished companion of James Wakefield. Much loved mother of Greg (Jo-Anne), of Kitchener, and Janis Pretswell, of Goderich. Proud grandmother of Rebecca McAuley (Chris), Monique Martin, Nicholas Martin (Melodie), Bradley Griffin (Kim) and Mark Griffin (Stephanie); and great-grandmother of Austin and Griffin McAuley. Dear sister of the late Marion Hessey and loving aunt to her family. A funeral service will be conducted at WESTVIEW FUNERAL CHAPEL, 709 Wonderland Road North, London, on Wednesday, October 25, 2017 at 11:00 a.m., with visitation one hour prior to the service. Interment at Mount Pleasant Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to the charity of your choice would be gratefully appreciated.

Janis and Families I was saddened to hear of Eileen's passing. Eileen was a such a pleasure to know and we had many good times together. I know Jim will miss her, he was such a gentleman. Janis, you will be lost without her also, but we both knew she was ready and the good Lord took her. Our condolences. Nick and Joan Whyte.

Memories
I would like to express my condolences to Eileen's family. I worked with Eileen for a number of years and I really enjoyed her friendship during those years. She was a strong lady and I often thought about her and how she was doing during our retirement years. May she rest in peace.
