Thinking of you all during this difficult time. He's at peace now, and no longer in any pain. He will be greatly missed by many! Jd was always such a proud man and stayed that way throughout his illness. I admire his strength throughout it all. His main focus when we talked was always about making sure you and the kids would be ok. He was so proud of his family and all of their accomplishments. I know he will be watching over you all. Call us if you need anything. Lots of love; we are going to miss him so much. xo

~ Nate, Val & Caleb (Cookie)

JD was one of a kind. I only have memories of Jeff that involve fun and laughter many years ago. Seeing the strength of his family at the celebration of his life today made me realize what a powerful person he really was and the effect he had on so many who loved him. You are awesome man and I will see you again one day when we can drive for the "Clubber Lang" once more.

Sheri, Carter, Tory, Jack and Sandy, Scott and family. Sorry we cannot be there today to celebrate Jeff's life. Jack and I ran into JD at the rink in London last summer so glad we got to have that quick "catch up on life" chat. Lots of memories to be cherished of JD and the boys! Thinking of you all during this difficult time.

~ Heather and Jack Tape

J.D. was truly an amazing person, great sense of humour and a heart of gold. Thoughts and prayers are with Sherri, Carter and Tory.

~ Jeff Surridge

Jeff had a kindness and honesty about him that came through in his light-hearted, easy-going conversation. He was a welcoming and enthusiastic individual. A family man. A good man. His young passing is a terrible loss to his family. To Sheri, Carter and Tory, our deepest condolences.

~ Cindy Cartier & Jack Ruitenbeek

Met JD at hockey rink when our boys were learning to skate. Became great friends. I'll miss our golf games (when he refused to give me any shots even though we both knew he should have) and just getting together for beers once in awhile when we would solve all the worlds problems. We lost a great one. A 12 out of 10.

~ Todd Bryant

Sorry to hear about JD's passing. Always enjoyed our conversations at the rink. Our condolences to his family and many friends.

Very sadly missing my old friend and business partner, the office will not be the same without Jeff. JD was unique and one of a kind... competitive in business as well as on the golf course or hockey rink. He talked often about his family and was a very proud husband and father. Love you Buddy and hope to reunite one day. My thoughts and prayers go out to Sheri, Carter and Tory.

~ Bernie Aldred

Just heard of Jiffy's passing. Couldn't have imagined my life without him in it. Some of my best times were when he was involved. Make sure you teach them the Michigan Fight Song up there. My deepest condolences to Sheri and the kids, Jack and Sandy, Scott and Joanna and kids. My Love and Thoughts are with you guys.

~ Ron (Lama) Stieler

I am so sorry to hear of Jeff's passing. I was a customer and potential customer of Jeff's for many years when I worked at Fanshawe College, so we met often. I will always remember Jeff for his zest. My sincere sympathies to Jeff's family and friends.
