Elizabeth Brodi

Passed peacefully at her home, with her daughter and son-in-law by her side, on Thursday, December 21, 2017, in her 94th year. Cherished wife of the late George Brodi for 64 years. Lovingly remembered by her daughter Maria Gerencer and her husband Steve, and her son-in-law John Kokenyesi. Predeceased by her son George Brodi, and her daughter Elizabeth Kokenyesi. Devoted grandmother of Steve Gerencer (Danielle), Diana Cooper (Chris), Linda Kokenyesi (David) and Lisa Kokenyesi (Harry). Proud great-grandmother of Shayla, Kyle, Carson, Nolan, Caleb, Marlowe and Grady. Elizabeth will also be sadly missed by her family and friends in both Canada and Hungary. Visitation will be held at WESTVIEW FUNERAL CHAPEL, 709 Wonderland Road North, London, on Wednesday from 7:00-9:00 p.m. and on Thursday from 11:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Thursday, December 28, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. at ST. PATRICK’S PARISH, 377 Oakland Avenue, London. Interment at St. Peter’s Cemetery. Those wishing to make a donation in memory of Elizabeth are asked to consider St. Stephen of Hungary Hungarian Catholic Community, Alzheimer Society London and Middlesex, Heart and Stroke Foundation of Ontario or Epilepsy Southwestern Ontario.
