Peacefully, on Thursday, December 28th, 2017 at University Hospital in her 80th year. Predeceased by her husband of 52 years, James Albert Leonard (2009). Loving mother of Debra Austin (Mike) and Becky Baldwin (Kevin). Dear grandmother of Chelsey, Dustin (Emily) and Alicia. Patsy will be missed by her close family and friends as well as her little companion Cheeco. A special thank you for the loving care given by medical staff at University Hospital-ICU. The funeral service will be conducted at WESTVIEW FUNERAL CHAPEL, 709 Wonderland Road North, on Tuesday, January 2nd, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. with visitation one hour prior. Those wishing to make a donation in memory of Patricia are asked to consider the Participation House Foundation.

Dear Deb, Mike, Chelsey, Dustin, Alicia, Becky and Kevin, We were deeply saddened to learn of Pat's passing and our hearts go out to you in this time of loss and sorrow. Pat was a great gal: a beautiful lady, inside and out, with a great sense of humour which was made evident when bantering with Barry! She had a great appreciation for beauty and took much pleasure in making her little corner of the world attractive: when it came to planting flowers, more was definitely better! We were friends and neighbours for 7 years and during that time we spent many enjoyable hours with Pat: sitting on the front porch of her home, chit-chatting & nattering, soaking up the sun and sharing a "happy hour" now and again. Pat went out of her way to make us feel welcome at many of her family celebrations and she was supportive and kind when we were faced with difficult moments; being far from our own families during our time in London, this kindness was especially meaningful to us. We can't help feeling that some light has gone out of our lives with her passing, but the sun and the flowers will forever be around, reminding us of the time and love shared with Pat. Becky and Debra - I am so sorry to hear of your Mom's passing. Pat and I have been friends for many,many years -I did not know that she was ill. My sincere condolence to all the family. I enjoyed your Mom and Becky's visit a while ago. Be strong girls - my prayers are with you.
