I am very saddened by learning about Ed's passing today. He was a big energy in our home during high school. Always over hanging with my brother, always laughing and smiling. Treated me as a friend and not as Franks little sister. May God bless his family and friends during this difficult time. My prayers are with him.

We were saddened to hear of Edwards passing. You are in Our Thoughts and Prayers.

To all of Ed's family I wish to express my deep sorrow on the loss of Eddy. Though I knew him only briefly, we were companions on the pilgrimage to Martyrs'Shrine and though brief, to know him was a privilege and a blessing. Procedamus in Pace! In nomine Christi, Amen.

Ed was loved and admired by our family and I don't want to believe he is gone. He was my little brother too. I always looked forward to a conversation with him and loved that we found the same things funny or annoying or ridiculous. I will hang on to the memory of our last visit and remember Ed's smile. Paula, Ed was so lucky to find a partner in you; it breaks my heart that your journey together has come to a sudden stop. I will forever regret not getting out the dinner invitation sooner. Blessed to have shared space with you my brother. Blessed to have had moments of greatness, and to lean on each other when that's all we could do. Your light was bright my friend, and the world is better for having you in it. From Lottas art classes, to skateboarding in many places we shouldn't. I always knew you had my back and I had yours. Big love brother you will never be forgotten.

Our hearts are broken. We extend our condolences to Ex's family and friends. Such a creative and gentle soul with such thoughtful ideas is lost to us now, but his artworks bring that energy to light.

Remembering Ed I have to recognize that felt sort of inmediate connection with him, since the first moment we met on the airport on Toronto. I saw an open and cozy man, kind and observant, with a bright and sharp gaze. As we started knowing each other my first impression prevale, complemented with his profound artistic sense, clear stetic appreciation and love for the shape of things, the textures and quality of materials. Capable of seeing the richness of human being on the variety of people that sorround him. There by, in his quality of unique and extraordinary person, stood by our daughter side, enriching her life, making her laugh and feel loved. Thank you Edward, for all that Paula lived at your side. Your mother and father in law.

Words cannot express the deep sadness that I felt today saying goodbye to my dear friend Ed. Although we did not see each other as often over the last few years, Ed was always there on the other end of the line, or just a text away. His humour, his smile, his kindness, his sensitivity always brought a smile to my face. We had known each other since we were 16 and we shared many great moments together in high school and during his yearlong stay in Montreal. May his tremendous talent in art live on...I know I will forever cherish the numerous paintings, drawings and doodles that I have from him. I am glad that I got to be a part of the ceremony today, it is a day I will never forget. My love goes out to Paula, whose strength during this difficult time was remarkable. Also, my love to Bob, Marg, CJ and Jenn....you did a beautiful job honouring Ed's life. I hope you are comforted by the fact that he is no longer in pain, and up in heaven with his son Salvador. Ed, you will always have a special place in my heart, "There is a light and it never goes out", that is you my friend....Rest in peace xoxo
