I am so very sorry to hear of Hedi's passing. I met Hedi while working for Dr. H and have enjoyed our lunch meetings with Hedi and Pat MacKinnon over the last twenty years. You will be missed Hedi! Say hi to Dr. H. Love you always, Rosemary

Please accept my sincere sympathy on the death of Hedi, your Mother and Grandmother. We bonded over tales of travel and Chinese adventures. Hedi was generous in sharing photographs and knowledge. At some Trident meetings, it was fun to watch her squirming as she waited for an opportunity to make a break for the golf course. Hedi was a lovely, gracious woman. She will be missed.

Dearest Hedi We didn't have much family here in Canada from my Dad's side. You and your family filled that gap nicely. I will always remember the family trips back and forth from Guelph to London right from when we were very young. I will never forget the summer that you 'invited' me as a teenager to come and live with you to care for Micheal and David. Thinking back on the adventures of that summer and the misadventures (thank you God for David's eye not being hit by that arrow from the kid's archery set) I suspect that you may have had difficulty finding a sitter locally for your little ruffians.LOL. But I do know that I learned alot from your family dynamics about being a great mother. Thank you for that and all the support, visits and kindness you have shown our family over the years. With love. Your Cousin Lynn.

Hedi you have been an inspiring friend and family member. Thank you for brightening up our lives, Mom and Dad thoroughly loved visiting you and Alf. You stood with us in happy times and in times when we required your help to stand on our own. You showed such courage and leadership by going to teach in China and to help countless children to grow and make a difference because you cared to make a difference. You made us laugh with your numerous stories of your travels,. Thoughts of you will bring smiles to our faces and joy to our hearts. Thank you for sharing stories of your youth and helping us realize what a brave new world you helped to create. Thank you for being you! God Bless and may you dwell in the house of the Lord forever.

~ Judith Reavell
