Peacefully at Mount Hope, on Thursday, October 25, 2018, Vladislava ‘Velda’ of London, in her 95th year. Beloved wife of the late Alfonsas Trakinskas (1999). Loving mother of Al Trakinskas (Wendy) and Audrey Dupuis (Gatean). Loved by her grandchildren Alan (Susan), Julie (Zoltan), David (Hannah), Adam (Charlotte) Trakinskas, Alexander (Ajmair) and Taylor McCoy, and great-grandchildren: Noah and Lyla Moody, Sadie Raye and Amelia Kristie McCoy and Chloe Jane Trakinskas. Predeceased by parents Antania and Jonas Kazakauskas. A visitation will be conducted at WESTVIEW FUNERAL CHAPEL, 709 Wonderland Road North, London, on Sunday, October 28, 2018 from 2:00 – 4:00 p.m, with vigil prayers at 1:45 p.m. Interment in Sault Ste. Marie. Those wishing to make a donation in memory of Velda are asked to consider Salthaven Wildlife Rehabilitation and Education Centre or the Alzheimer Society London and Middlesex.
